The word that i picked for chapters five and six of The Outsiders is “heroic”. The reason I picked this word is because this word explains the chapters because Johnny and Ponyboy ran away. And they started to stay in this old church then one day Dally goes to visit and check on them to see how they are doing. So they lefted the church to go and eat at a Dairy Queen. So they decided to turn themselves in the to police but they went back to the church. But the church was on fire and some kids were still inside so they go inside to go and save them. But all the little kids get out and also PonyBoy. But except Johnny and Dally they got burned from the fire. So that’s why I picked the word “heroic” because they are heroes for saving the little kids and risking their own lives to save others. So they did something very brave because Randy from the said that he wouldn’t have saved the little kids in the burning church. So I think this “heroic” describes the chapter then PonyBoy gets his picture in the newspaper too. But even said that was a hero and those are some reason why I picked that word to describe the chapters five and six.
