My thoughts about working with Canada are many. The collaboration with the students in
Canada was difficult because it was hard to talk to them. The time difference played a big part because it will be early for the students in California but not for the students in
Canada. It was a different experience for me because I never have talked to anybody in
Canada. Or done a project were you had to chat online. But this project made me more responsible about my projects and working in groups. Because this project you had to be responsible and chat with Canada. If not then you get an F homework plus you haven’t started your project. So now I will start my projects sooner and not wait for the last minute. And really think about the project and also if you don’t do your parts you’re going to make everybody in your group fail if you don’t do your part. Because it will effect everybody that is in the group with you. Will I work with Canada again the answer would be “yes” because it’s something that I never did before in my life. But this time I will try to be online more to chat. And start the project the day I will get it. So my experience with Canada wasn’t the bested but it wasn’t the worsted.

After reading chapters eleven and twelve the words that popped in my head were fear. So the word I pick is fear because it is shown in the two chapters. Fear is shown in the chapters because Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry all feared they would be separated. And they were because they had to go to court for what had happened. Since Ponyboy got in trouble with the law for killing Bob and running away from the crime. So fear played a big part in the last few chapters. But lucky they didn’t got separated nor want to jail for killing Bob. Even if he didn’t do it and it was self defense. So they were happy that they didn’t get separated and got put in foster care. So both Sodapop and Ponyboy were still in Darry’s care. Ponyboy didn’t want to believe that Johnny had died he wanted to believe that he was still alive. And at the end Ponyboy was failing his English class but wrote an excellent report about his life, which is The Outsiders. So that’s why I picked fear the described the two chapters of the book The Outsiders.
“FRIENDSHIP”
The word that I picked for chapters nine and ten is the word “friendship”. Because in these two chapters you see all the greasers caring for each other during the rumble because they do did want their friends or family members to get hurt in the rumble. They will protect you help you when you need help. So that’s shows friendship they had with each other also with each other also with Johnny while he was in thw hospital for the burns he got. While he was helping saving a group of little kids that were trapped in the burning church. They like loved Johnny very much and they all cried when he dies in the chapters of the book The Outsiders.
The word that I picked is “survival” because Johnny and Dally were in the hospital because what had happened when they were trying to save the little kids in the burning church. They survived from the burning church but they were both buried with the fire. Johnny was burned very badly that he might die or be cripple for the rest of his life. Dally was burned but not as bad as Johnny. PonyBoy, Dally, and Soda were waiting for Johnny and Dally in the hospital to see how they are doing, which showed that they really cared for them and love them like family. But it’s mostly about survival because they survived from the burn that happened it was a brave thing to do and they were trying to survival while they were in the hospital. Especially, Johnny was trying to survival because he was badly burned and he might die because of the burns. Also there is going to be a rumble against the Socs and Greasers. So the chapters seven and eight are about survival to me.
Power Question
1. I think that power is a knowlege. You can’t touch power so that’s why it knowledge. If you have knowledge you know everything and your always on top of everyone. That’s good for you if your trying to get a job or doing something like that.
2. Now, lets take the worker and friend being promoted as an example. Maybe the friend who wasn’t promoted feels bad because he never gets to talk to him anymore because he’s always in business trips. Then the worker might be all mad and jealous at him and not talk to him anymore. Then the one who got promoted might get mad at him and not want to talk to each other. That can really mess up a relationship.
3. It puts more pressure and stress on the person who is making the decision. It makes think more about their decision. They have to think about everyone who is going to be affected by this decison. It also might have a realy big impact on people if the person makes the wrong decision.
4. I guess that it just makes someone feel different. It makes them feel like their in control and can do anything they want, but they can’t. Power is just a force that to me is knowledge. That is what power is to me.
